    When it comes to drug use, hygienic conditions are one of the most important factors. To reduce the risk of transmission of infectious diseases, COMPET MEDICAL AG has developed the SyriSET®™.

    This line of syringes consists of a syringe, a filter, and a needle and are available in various combinations.
    SyriFILT®™ is used for the treatment / filtration of drug solutions in order to keep undissolved material, especially coarser admixtures, as far as possible from the injection solution! Simple, hygienic and safer application is guaranteed.
     
    SyriSET®™

    • A SyriFILT®™ is placed on a 3-parts disposable syringe (1 ml, 2.5 ml, or 5 ml) and a needle is attached. The three products are packaged together in blister packs.
    • The kit is sterilized using the EO (ethylene oxide) method and sold under the trademark SyriSET®™.
    • The content of the SyriSET®™ contributes to the safety of intravenous drug use by combining three sterile disposable products.
    • Greater safety through a filter already attached to the syringe or a filter disc integrated into the hypodermic needle (SyriSET®™ PIC).
    • Safer for the user.
    • Easier handling – with a few simple steps, a safer injection is possible.
    • SyriSET®™ is a medical device designed specifically for intravenous drug use with CE marking 0197.
    • More environmentally friendly and less packaging.

    The SyriSET®™ PIC contains:

    • SyriPRICK®™ SOLO: 1 ml (LDS or, 2.5 ml disposable syringe (3-parts))
    • SyriFILT®™ PIC enclosed
      • Standard hypodermic needle with integrated filter disc, making it a special hypodermic needle
      • Filter material complies with SyriFILT®™ STANDARD
      • Eliminates maximum impurities in a solution before injection
      • The use of syringes with Luer lock connection ensures a more secure hold of the SyriFILT®™ PIC.

     

    Special benefits of the SyriSET®™ PIC

    • Easier handling: The filter and hypodermic needle can be attached to the syringe with just one hand. Procedure:
      1. Draw up the solution
      2. Attach the needle
      3. Inject the solution
      4. Dispose of the syringes safely
    • This eliminates the aspiration step through the filter. The SyriFILT®™ PIC is simpler and more user-friendly.
    • The filter clogs after a single use and cannot be reused.
    • This type of filter produces less waste (no additional packaging for the filter).
